Developed in collaboration with Owyhee Offroad Parts, this shackle addresses the issue of lost pins and tangled lanyards through a grooved channel encircling the pin flange, housing a weather-resistant stainless steel spin ring. This innovative spin pin design ingeniously leaves the pin hole empty, enabling easy insertion of a tool for pin tightening or loosening without causing damage to the lanyard, adding practicality to the shackle's operation.

The shackle's durable lanyard is crafted from 7-strand stainless 210 lb wire rope coated with black vinyl, ensuring both robustness and gentleness to prevent scratching on the shackle or bumper during rough trail usage. The 3/4-inch bow shackle is reinforced by a tapered body side profile, delivering exceptional strength and safety, and it offers a soft shackle-friendly design, protecting both recovery ropes and towing gear from damage.

The shackle's receiver is expertly forged using 6061-T6 aluminum with strategically aligned grain flow to optimize the connection point's strength, ensuring a reliable work load limit of 10,000 lbs. The Moose Knuckle Offroad B'oh Shackle is designed to fit seamlessly into any bumper shackle mount or tow shackle receiver hitch bracket mount featuring a 7/8" (0.875") pin hole and a mount width of 1-1/4" (1.25") or less, providing versatility for various setups.

The receiver is equipped with two hitch pin holes to accommodate various receiver mounting positions, increasing compatibility with different 2-inch hitch packages. Additionally, the third hitch pin hole and included spacer allow rotation of the receiver by 90 degrees, facilitating the mounting of a hitch ball with a 3/4" shank, providing a towing tongue weight limit of 300 lbs and a gross trailer weight of 3,500 lbs with a Class I/II hitch ball.

Unlike many shackle receivers that feature sharp edges at the connection point that can damage soft shackles, synthetic ropes, tree savers, and strap looped ends, the Mohawk 2.0 main mounting hole boasts a generously large radius on the outer edges, minimizing abrasion and extending the life of recovery gear, making it an ideal choice for closed-loop recovery setups.

The Two Finger Spin Pin design ensures pins and shackles remain securely joined during off-road activities, eliminating the risk of losing pins.
